From the La Escusa single vineyard we find this sensational gem, aged 12 months in neutral oak foudres and bottled unfined and unfiltered. “Like the sea” was my biggest takeaway from tasting this wine; indeed, it has the most palpable, exciting salinity on the palate, with scents of talcum, crushed white stones, and grapefruit. It is nervy, bright and sensational with gorgeous minerality and a long, citrus and sea brine finish. Perfect for summer drinking!
