There is Montrachet—and there is everything else. The benchmark for all white wine, it is widely regarded as the finest, richest, and most complete of all White Burgundies.

Montrachet spans approximately eight hectares, almost evenly split between the communes of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. Its gently sloping, east-facing vineyard and thin marly limestone soil provide ideal conditions for producing remarkable wines.

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti owns two prized parcels on the Chassagne side, acquired in 1963, 1965, and 1980. The Domaine’s opulent, signature style comes from late harvesting and meticulous selection of only the finest fruit.

DRC’s Montrachet is the rarest and most expensive of all—it’s nearly impossible to find, and even harder to forget.
